Overview

We are looking for a qualified Front-End developer to join us at Scarlet Creative. You will be responsible for building the ‘client-side’ of our web applications. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.

However, we do expect you to be able to hold your own with the following.

Main Responsibilities
Regularly communicate with stakeholders, project managers, quality assurance teams, and other developers regarding progress on the long-term technology roadmap.
Create and maintain workflows with teams to provide visibility and to ensure workload balance for consistent visual designs.
Develop and oversee testing schedules in client server environment, addressing all browsers and devices to ensure various devices display the desired content.
Use HTML5 to create responsive, interactive and user-friendly web pages.
Develop Progressive Web Apps using Reactjs or Flutter.
Maintaining and polishing legacy websites.
Assisting in integration and UI testing
Optimising applications for maximum speed
Collaborating with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability, functionality and ease-of-integration
Developing solutions and making changes based on stakeholder and user feedback
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field. This is not a requirement, as experience speaks more.
General Knowledge Required
Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
Understanding of layout aesthetics
Knowledge of SEO principles
An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
Excellent analytical, multitasking skills and attention to detail
Required Languages, Frameworks and Libraries
HTML5, CSS, jQuery, Javascript.
WordPress (eCommerce and WooCommerce experience is nice but is not requirement).
Foundation with Flutter and ReactJS.
Foundation with React Native.
Knowledge in Agile and SCRUM methodologies
Well-versed in best coding practices
Practised in Git and Continuous Integration

We at Scarlet Creative are seeking a talented Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Full-Stack Developer, you will be in charge of crafting sophisticated and scalable solutions using Python, Dart and cloud technologies. You'll be developing both the front-end and back-end components of our diverse range of digital products, including web applications and cloud-based services.

Qualifications
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
Solid knowledge of software design principles (e.g., object-oriented design, agile methodologies)
Proven experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud
Experience developing web applications, APIs, and other digital products
High School Diploma or equivalent.

General Knowledge Required
Familiarity with browser testing and debugging, and automated testing platforms
In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
Understanding of Cloud Computing services and how to implement scalable solutions
Proficient understanding of the client-server model
Understanding of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Understanding of “session management” in a distributed server environment
Knowledge of accessibility and security compliance
Knowledge of SEO principles
An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
Excellent analytical, multitasking skills and attention to detail
Knowledge in Agile and SCRUM methodologies
Well-versed in best coding practices
Practised in Git and Continuous Integration
